Settings:

Probably the first thing you want to do is scroll to the bottom of a match page and adjust your scale factor. The default scale is 60%, which is a decent size to be able to see more at once, but more difficult to read than 100%. A large scale can be good for phones where you're using pinch zoom to scale, and it will be sharpest at 100%. The chat and match log boxes will reposition themselves automatically to be either above or to the side of the canvas.

Also, have a look at your profile. It has settings.

Inputs:

The basic rule of thumb is that if you would pick something up in the physical board game, then you click it here.

Anything you can click to send a move except cards on the progress board will be highlighted, or have an arrow in the case of deploying and undeploying. That doesn't ensure it's a valid move. In particular, things might be highlighted that you can't afford. If you click them, you will see a red message telling you why that's not a valid move.

For things you can't click on elsewhere, like gaining resources or answering questions, buttons will appear below the prompt.

An example is growth: To take resources for your growth, click on one of the resource buttons that will appear below the prompt. If you want to take a worker, then click on the appropriate population track at the bottom of your board.

To draft a nation, click on it.

To take a card's special action, click on the card.

To take a turmoil card, click on the pool of remaining turmoil cards on the main board next to the architects.

To hire an architect from the common supply, either click on the supply on the main board or on your wonder under construction.

To hire a private architect, click on the card providing the private architect.

There are a couple of cases where you can buy a card from another player. In that case, click on the card to buy it.

To complete your turn, click on the "Confirm" button. You should always be asked to confirm before it becomes another player's turn.

The one situation where you can confirm without clicking that particular "Confirm" button is when you take an action that causes another player to make a decision on your turn. In that case, if you don't have any more actions except potential undeploys, then a button will appear that says, "Confirm and complete the turn now". Clicking that button will act as confirmation and forfeit the possibility of undeploying after the other player has made their decision. This is so you don't need another input for it to be the next player in turn order's turn. It's mainly to speed up asynchronous play a bit. Because of this, if you are placing a wonder that results in another player making a decision, you will be required to place the wonder before they have to make their decision. If you click the usual "Confirm" button, then play will come back to you to complete your turn.

Display:

The tracks below the main board show stability, military, and books for each player. The tracks don't show every possible value, only the values players or the war token currently have. The black token is the war token, indicating the military value of the current war, if any. The token colors correspond to the player colors. In your profile, you can change the player colors and optionally turn on symbols to go with each color.

Current resources are shown on each nation’s board. The number above the wreath is that nation's current point tokens. If a player would lose a point and has zero of those, then they are spared the point loss. The number above the worker symbol is the total grown workers of that nation, whether deployed or not.

To the right of each nation’s board is an area that shows several things:
  • That nation's unplayed dynasty cards.
  • That nation's current stability and military values along with either "[most]" or "[least]" or neither to indicate whether that nation is considered to have the most or least of that stat.
  • Resource production at the end of the round, if the round were to end right now. This includes losing books for revolt (negative stability or military). It does not include famine or any effects of the events.
  • The nation's current score. This is what their score would be if the match were scored immediately, without going through production or events, including bonus points, such as the additional points offered by Statue of Liberty or Grand Canyon. It also takes into account the doubling of stone from Titusville.

Let me know if there's anything else I should add or better explain here (besides images ;-)).
