cant "logout" from the Forum - i am still "in" after logging out?

That’s because the forum is using your credentials from your site login to log you into the forum automatically. Otherwise, you would need two accounts. I can possibly figure out how to get the logout link from the forum page to redirect you to the logout page of the site. It’s something I’ve thought to do but haven’t researched yet.

Is anyone familiar enough with phpBB to look up the how to do this?

OK - fine for me to "logg out"over the starting page
